DEAR PARENTS,

Camp Wood YMCA invites your child to share the summer of 2008 with us. Since 1916, Camp Wood YMCA has been providing high-quality camping programs in a caring family environment. We provide a safe experience that fosters healthy decision making, lasting friendships, learning new skills and strengthening values.
Our program takes place in the heart of The Flint Hills. Camp Wood sits atop the Cottonwood River Valley and features 630 acres of Kansas Tallgrass Prairie. At Camp Wood your child will build memories that last a lifetime and also become more appreciative of nature and grow in creativity and awareness of the world around them.
Our committed staff serve as positive role models for your children. They are carefully selected and highly trained to help your child’s skill development and personal growth. Our highly supervised, small-group atmosphere ensures each camper reaches his or her potential.
There are many friendships and special memories to be made at Camp Wood YMCA. Join us and become a part of the Camp Wood Family!

Respectfully yours,
Ken Wold, Executive Director
